Elk Creek is a rural K-4 school with an enrollment of 45 students with
a staff of 4 teachers.
The school has a wide range of learning materials, manipulatives, learning
games, films, videos, textbooks, and supplemental workbooks. The school has
computers and is connected to the internet through the Glenn County Office of
Education server. In the area of reference materials Elk Creek has some sets
of encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries, and magazines.

MISSION
It is the belief of the staff that all children can learn. The
mission of Elk Creek Elementary is to improve the basic skills of all
children attending this school and to create a school climate conducive
to learning by encouraging good citizenship, good attendance and high
academic standards. It is our intent to provide an environment which
fosters in children the
drive to do their very best academically and physically so that they
may
grow up and become productive members of society.
